Progressive Overload in GymEvo
Progressive overload only works when you know what to beat. GymEvo shows last session's numbers next to every set, gives each exercise its own rep range and weight increment, and charts whether the load is really going up.
Free to download on iOS and Android
The problem: remembering what to beat
Most lifters stall for a plain reason: they start a session without knowing what they did last time, so they repeat it. A paper log or a notes app keeps the numbers but leaves the next step to memory. GymEvo puts your previous performance in front of you while you log, keeps a progression setting for every exercise, and turns your history into charts and personal records, so you can spot a stall early instead of guessing.
How it works in GymEvo

01
Log every set while you train
Track weight, reps, timed sets, RPE, and notes while seeing previous performance and current targets
Use smart progression, calculated warm-up sets, and automatic or manual rest timers
Start a scheduled or quick workout, adjust it as you train, and load the bar with the built-in plate calculator

02
Build a training plan around your goals
Create and schedule custom routines, import GymEvo and community programs, or generate a personalized split
Set up automatic progression or a custom multi-week periodization cycle for each exercise

03
See whether your lifts are actually moving
Chart estimated one-rep max, maximum weight, reps or duration, total volume, and rep-range distribution for any exercise
Switch any chart between the last month, three months, year, or your whole history
Browse every completed workout and open weekly and monthly reviews of consistency, muscles trained, and calories

04
Keep every personal record on file
Track records for estimated one-rep max, maximum weight, reps, time, and volume, plus your best set at every rep count
See every personal record you've set, when you set it, and how much you gained each time
Set a target for reps, weight, volume, time, or estimated one-rep max and keep your achieved goals on record
Who it suits
A good fit if
You lift weights and want each session to build on the one before.
You follow a rep-range rule such as double progression and want the app to keep track of it.
You want to see progress in charts and personal records, not just a list of finished workouts.
Probably not for you if
You prefer follow-along video classes. GymEvo logs what you lift; it does not lead a session.
You want a coach to watch your form and rewrite your program for you.
What's free and what Premium adds
Logging, previous performance while you train, per-exercise rep ranges and weight increments, personal records, and the estimated one-rep max and volume charts are free. Premium adds automatic set-by-set weight and rep targets based on your previous performance, weights from your one-rep max in percentage-based plans, an optional energy check before the workout, calculated warm-up sets, the full record history, and the remaining charts.
Some features require GymEvo Premium, an account, internet access, or device permissions. Availability and free limits can vary by platform and region.
